Category Archives: personal My dad picked this shirt out for Carolyn and honestly life does feel pretty dreamy some days. (We’ve seen rainbows three days in a row!) Of course photography allows me to remember all the fairytale days… I’ve loved noticing all the different shades of soft green this spring,  This time of year I am dreaming of Seattle summer and fondly remembering the heat wave and wonderful week when Barb Uil of JinkyArt came to my studio. Barb taught two 3-day workshops here and the whole experience was as dreamy as her images. Barb shared so much of what makes her the artist she…  We were already impressed with the amazing staff at the Monterey Bay Aquarium but we never imagined someone would see my blog post about our trip and offer to send Charlotte a new seahorse. Charlotte was so thrilled that they “found her lost seahorse.” We all know how much Charlotte loves to talk and she…  I often choose the happy laughing shots of kids. I will admit these are right in there with my style, still clean, bright, and warm but I really loved the softness of their expressions in the first couple of shots here. I really love the one of Carolyn playing with the sand between her feet…  Theron had to get back to Seattle after Napa but the girls and I headed headed down to Monterey to celebrate Charlotte’s 4th birthday with a day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
