Yearly Archives: 2010 Harbor Springs is a magical place to spend christmas and every year when we book our flights, I think we are crazy but it is hard to give up tradition. When we finally get here, I know it is worth all of the packing presents, kids and winter clothes, flying and then driving 4 hours…  I am so so happy to be in Atlanta this week photographing 7 families that I have photographed for years and 5 new families. The weather has been ideal and I love that I can catch up with my parents and brother’s family in between sessions. Ally came with me this trip and it has…  I loved this family’s session last year so making this year’s session as good or better was a fun challenge. They were scheduled for this coming Sunday morning but when we saw rain was in the forecast, we couldn’t let this week’s perfectly clear 68 degree wednesday go by. It was super bright out but…  This was the first of the many October sessions. 6 days into the month, I have had 6 sessions already but with the girls in school 5 days a week, I am moving through the proofs and staying on schedule. I am so thankful mother nature has been kind so far! Now about these…  This little one was the perfect age for portraits. She could sit up perfectly in a chair without falling (we stayed close just in case she chose to dive). But she was still a little bit too young to crawl away. She was full of smiles and tasted everything she could reach! |
