Monthly Archives: April 2012 I often choose the happy laughing shots of kids. I will admit these are right in there with my style, still clean, bright, and warm but I really loved the softness of their expressions in the first couple of shots here. I really love the one of Carolyn playing with the sand between her feet…  Theron had to get back to Seattle after Napa but the girls and I headed headed down to Monterey to celebrate Charlotte’s 4th birthday with a day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We have been to a lot of aquariums in the last few years but the sea otters, large exhibits on jelly fish and…  Napa was a perfect change of pace from the city. After swimming in the hotel’s outdoor pool and before dinner, we stopped at a beautiful park with hiking trails. The kids were full of imagination and as long as I was willing to play fairies, they let me play photographer.  Ally’s eyes lit up the second she spotted a double decker bus and we agreed it was a great idea for this trip. We loved hearing about and seeing all of the touristy spots in San Francisco. The city felt huge on a slow moving bus. We had a 2-day pass so we hopped on…  We have lived in Seattle way too long to have never been to San Francisco. It has been on my wish list for years but I have heard the best time to go is August, September or October and we never want to leave Seattle during those times.
